At Bayview Financial, L.P. we provide our employees with an excellent benefits plan. In addition, we provide both an educational reimbursement program and several professional development opportunities through our internal training program, Bayview University.
All full-time and part-time employees working at least 25 hours per week are eligible for company benefits in the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Coverage options include employee only, employee and children/or spouse or family coverage. The company pays the employee portion of the medical PPO benefit. A medical HMO plan is also available. You may choose either a Dental HMO or PPO. The vision plan allows discounts on services when using a network provider.
The company provides term life insurance at no cost to eligible full-time employees in the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
In order to protect employees and their families from sudden loss of income due to illness or injury, short-term disability benefits are paid based on length of service. This benefit is available to full-time employees only.
Bayview provides Long Term Disability at no cost to full-time employees. This plan offers continuing income if you are eligible and remain disabled and unable to work for more than 90 days.
The company offers supplemental plans to full-time employees through AFLAC.
Bayview will automatically enroll employees in the 401(k) plan following six months of employment, unless an employee elects to opt out of the plan. For these employees, 2% of his/her compensation will be withheld from each paycheck. Employees may change the amount of their participation. The company match is 50% of that portion of each employee's annual contribution that is equal to or less than 6% of the employees' annual base pay. In any event, the maximum amount the company will match is 3% of the employee's base pay.
Following six months of employment, full-time employees are eligible for the following number of vacation days:
A maximum of 40 hours may be carried over at the end of the calendar year.
Full-time employees are eligible upon hire for the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and day after, and Christmas. Part-time employees are paid four hours for holidays.
Full-time employees are eligible for sick days after three months of employment.
Bayview offers the services of Human Management Services as the Employee Assistance and Work life Program. This confidential benefit, which is paid by Bayview, is a resource to help employees and eligible dependents successfully manage temporary setbacks in life.
Full-time employees are eligible for educational reimbursement after six months of employment. Work related courses, continuing education courses or seminars are eligible for tuition costs up to a maximum of $3,000 per year.
This program has been created as a set of activities and guidance for employees who wish to advance their professional and personal development and for teams striving to increase their effectiveness. This includes:
Leadership Academy - courses in leadership and management skills.
Professional Development - courses in a variety of topics to enhance individual performance and increase professional skills.
Team Specific - courses for teams to attend together.
Computer Training - offsite classes in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
After Hours Series - Courses held on-site on topics like Spanish, CPR and Personal Finance.
Ethics Training - Online courses covering a variety of ethics and legal topics.
